News Story February 2, 2014 Progressive Insurance Minneapolis Boat Show

The 2014 Progressive Insurance Minneapolis Boat Show finished its last day with happy boat dealers, satisfied show managers, and visitors ready for Super Bowl parties after a great day of dreaming about summer fun. This year’s show had an amazing array of exhibitors, features, and of course boats, from the tiny electric Go-Float to the 2013 Boat of the Year, the Cruiser Sport Series 328.

“This year’s show has been a tremendous success, with many dealers reporting a large number of leads and record sales,” said Darren Envall, Show Manager. “We’re also very happy with attendance numbers, which look very strong for the four-day period.”

Attendance was also very strong today, typically the second-busiest day of the show. Sunday is also the day when boat buyers return to show for some serious negotiation, often on the larger model boats. For the boating enthusiast, the show is definitely the place to get the best deal on a new boat and many visitors took advantage of that this year.
