I remember the Mad Men episode where they came up with that line… at the time, it was revolutionary, and they all knew about the health issues…

I can agree with that; many doctors will interpret or spin an analysis to their benefit! B

These old ads always get a good laugh out of me. This spin isn’t only limited to old cigarette ads. I love seeing the old asbestos and diet trend ads as well. I’m sure in 30 years some of our ads with be looked at, and the current generation will think “I can’t believe how much fast food they ate.”

    Anyways, thanks for the laugh.

My doctor is smoking, so she can say whatever she wants 🙂 Until I hear her cough

It is really nice one. I must say that you are awesome. I don’t know much about physicians. This picture really makes me laugh. I don’t think doctors recommend tobacco cigarette. Good to see this.

So…this is like from before I was even born! But sure, if you think you shouldn’t trust doctors who were toddlers or not even born yet, ummm….okay….

This ad is not as bad as the ones that actually used to promote smoking as a health aid. This one says it doesn’t make you cough, but they used to claim that they would be good for you!
I wonder if in years to come, we’ll look back on mobile phone ads and the like in the same way?
